Hello, My name is Karla and I have been caring for children for over 18 years. I'm a person that likes to experience new thing. I speak two languages, English and Spanish, plus basic baby sign language. I feel teaching children the skills to communicate creates a happy confident child. I Have worked as a babysitter, nanny and in a daycare/preschool. While working with young children I have learned a lot from them. Some of the thing that I teach the children the ABC’s, music, art and building. I studied the Reggio Emilia approach , this is an educational philosophy focused on preschool and primary education and on a child's natural development in a child lead environment. Reggio has helped me teach the children through their interests and explorations through everyday life; food, animals, plants, etc. then using the provocation to create their own unique art work.
