To whom it may concern, I have worked in child care professionally for the last five yrs. I want to be a teacher, something I'm still working on but know I will achieve. I'm passionate about teaching, I love the experience of being the second in a child's life, parents being the first, in exploration and new experiences when learning something new. I recently started working as a nanny and found it a little more flexible to suit my schedule. Needless to say I'm not less passionate in my pursue in being a teacher,by being a nanny, but it will be more one on one teaching. I will have a daily schedule and light cleaning and cooking if necessary. I unfortunately I do not own my own car and I do not have a drivers license, I will be taking public transportation. With that said, I love working with children Read more and teaching, I'm passionate about becoming an educator. Your child will have early childhood education right in your own home. I am certified in adult and pediatric CPR in case of an emergency. In the five years that I have worked in child care I have never had to use my skills in CPR, which is a plus. I bring my own supplies to the house with me and whatever I need to teach for the days lesson. Teaching can be a messy affair depending on what I'm teaching. I can assure there will be no trace of mess when I leave for the day. If you have school aged children, when they get home they will be given a snack and homework done within the hour or so depending if they need help. TV and video game privileges can be discuss if there are strict rules during school days. On a personal level I am from a big family and have helped with the teaching and raising of the children.
