Previous employment: Nanny for an infant from April 2015 - February 2017. Nanny for newborn twins from July 2016 - October 2016. Lead infant teacher at La Petite Academy from August 2015 - April 2017 Lead infant teacher at Children’s Learning Adventure from May 2017 - November 2017. Nighttime nanny for 2 kids from 2011-2016 Currently babysitting when needed. CPR/First Aid certified. - Infant CPR included. Also love to teach young ones sign language so that way they will always be able to communicate to you and hopefully help alleviate any confused frustration. Previously was in a Children’s Development program. Currently going to school for Pediatric/Neonatal Nursing. I previously volunteered for 2 years at a nonprofit organization for special needs children where I handled the infants on my own. Babies and toddlers are my world. I am all about teaching them new things and encouraging them to learn as we Read more play. Normal tasks I complete while watching children include: working one on one with the child to meet their needs, finding new and fun ways to wear the kids out before their parents get back so they have an easier time when I leave, as well as making sure you come home to a clean house and happy, healthy kiddos. Patience and compassion is key, I love helping others and what better way to do so than to exert my energy into being the kindest and most helpful person I can be to your little loves. I cook, clean, help with homework, work with kids on whatever they need developmentally to succeed. This also includes speech and physical therapy - not a trained therapist but I’m in all medical classes and so much experience I excel in helping babies/toddlers understand, form sentences, as well as pronounce new vocabulary.
