I graduated with my degree in both development and family studies and art and have had jobs working with kids on and off for 8+ years (not counting babysitting). Because I'm familiar with developmental milestones and appropriate activities, I hope to incorporate my love for art and learning through play into the ways that I interact with any of the little ones with whom I get to spend time. I don't want to be just a babysitter who makes sure the house doesn't fall apart while you're gone and not much else--I really care about and see value in kid's hearts (even the littlest ones!) and I think they have a lot to teach us if we learn to listen.
