My name is Jane, I am 23 years old and very interested in your job posting. I have been a professional nanny for the last 2 years but have been babysitting with different families for about 8 years now. A little bit of my history: My first time a full-time nanny job was for a well-known family in Houston. There were 3 kids that were 3,9, and 12 years old. I worked with them a little bit over a year, up until they had to move to Austin for their father's new job. I traveled with the family a few times and also stayed with the kids overnight for days at a time whenever the parents traveled or had football games out of town. Today I still occasionally work with this family, if they need me to travel with them or if the parents are leaving town, I go to Read more Austin and stay with the kids for the week. The mother of my first family recommended me to another family and I worked with them temporarily for about 7 months until their original nanny could come back to work. The kid's ages were 1 and 9. I cooked, cleaned, ran errands and took the kids to school and their activities for both families. I am great with kids with potty training. With the first family, I was able to accomplish that and also for my niece. I have a lot of patients and that is something that is really needed when working with kids. I love to take kids out for activities like painting, pottery, movies, swimming or anything they are interested in. Being involved with kids creates a bond between us and that is something I always look forward to the most. I am CPR certified, a non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record.
