I am a 19 year old college student studying nursing at the University of Texas at Austin, aiming to eventually become a pediatric nurse. I have been a babysitter/nanny for the past three summers and am looking to babysit/nanny this summer as well! I’ve been helping out with the toddler Sunday school at my church for many years now and first started babysitting/nannying during the summer of 2018 when 3 or 4 families at my church approached me about looking after their kids occasionally while they went out for date night or other events. I quickly realized that babysitting/nannying is one of the most entertaining and rewarding jobs. Engaging kids in activities like crafts, eating snacks, swimming, riding bikes, jigsaw puzzles, painting, or even just chatting reveals so much about their personalities and what’s going on in those little brains of theirs. Kids really say the darndest things sometimes! I Read more am CPR and first-aid certified, a non-smoker as well as have a clean driving record. I have experience babysitting a family with two children who were aged 1 year and 4 years, as well as a family with three children who were aged 1 year, 4 years, and 6 years old.
