Hey, I’m Mr. Sterling I am currently a sophomore at Texas Southern University studying Psychology and thinking about majoring in Sociology. I have 3 years experience working in child care. I started working with children when I was the president of my youth department at church. I enjoyed working with the children because it was empowering, exciting, and a learning experience not only for me but the children as well. This lead me to start babysitting for different families in my congregation. Which doing so my choir director noticed how good I was with the kids and introduce me to one of her previous student who was a director at a church camp, I started working at recently. This opportunity allowed me to realize how exciting it is to witness children growing and coming into the world. I gain a sense of communication, organization, and most importantly patience. I just Read more want to be able to help the next generation of kids and provide them with whatever they need to be the best they can be. I had people like that in my life I just want to return the favor.
