I’ve worked in child development and with children for years, before I was an adult. My mother is a principal and has her doctorate in child development & education, it was inevitable for me to share her interest in it. My experience started with my cousin who has ASD, I began to babysit and help him navigate his way through life. That experience with him made me love the stages children go through to become an adult. I immediately became a teachers aide to follow through with my passion, only to realize I like a more personalized feeling with the children, it’s the way I can actively ensure and monitor the growth of the child. After that I became a full time babysitter, then I transitioned to a full time nanny. I love my job and seeing the children grow day by day!
