To start off, I would have to say that I have definitely been called to teaching/caring for children. I am currently a sophomore in college and will be earning my masters in education. I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old and have had children of all ages whom I've babysat. Recently, I was caring for a 6 month old whom I had been with since she was 6 weeks old. Before that I was a nanny for 4 years for a family and eventually I felt like I was part of the family myself. I have also babysat for many people who have been referred by others and told them about me and lots of family friends. I am very outgoing and love to help out with what ever the children are needing. I love taking the children on field trips to the zoo and other adventures Read more like that. Also, I have a membership to my community pools where I would love to take the kids as well. I help out around the house with chores, grocery shopping and running the kids back and forth between their activities. (I was their age once and I was involved in lots of stuff, so I am used to running around all the time). I am very caring and always show children the upmost affection and care. I love what I do and wouldn't want to do anything else. I have tried other jobs but nothing really catches my eye as much as babysitting. I just enjoy the job too much because in my eyes, its not really a job. I spend the entire day hanging out with the kids, helping them to learn and grow.
