After High School, I began work at Montessori Reggio Academy in Sugar Land, Texas. Best Award for Montessori school in this Area 5 years in a row!!! Loved it there! I worked with every age group from newborn to 5 years old. At a Montessori school, every thing is learning oriented, in a way that makes it fun for the child. We began teaching them how to read and recognize words by the age of 3. Every day was planned from the morning till the afternoon with activities, lessons, art, recess, nap, and food breaks. Managing 12 toddlers at once alone, really boosted my confidence in my abilities to work with children. I also grew very close connections with each child, & I was very sad to go. At the beginning of 2021, I switched over to substitute teaching because it was a better fit for my college schedule. This Read more gave me experience with children in a grade school level, I've worked with all grades from K-12. I'm now taking college classes online & I'm excited to transition into nannying!
