Hello! Thank you so much for checking out my profile. I've had great experience working with kids as not only a date night babysitter (all ages), but also as a YMCA after-school counselor (watching a group of 26 K-5th grade children at once) and full-time nanny (watching 9 yr old twins). I've been babysitting children consistently since I was a young pre-teen, and began working as a YMCA counselor and nanny during my freshman year of college 2.5 years ago. While I do have experience with all age groups, I really prefer to work with pre-k children and up. I enjoy playing and listening to music, helping with homework, crafts, sports, and all kinds of fun/educational activities with kids! I have always had a passion for kids and helping others. Before I took a break from school (for moving and financial reasons), the major I was working towards was Elementary Read more Education/Psychology. After much thought and research during my break though, I decided that I would like to be working towards a dental assistant certification, as I felt that it would be a perfect culmination of everything I enjoy doing. I enjoy being social, problem solving, using my hands, doing clerical work, and helping others feel more comfortable and at ease (especially kids!). Nannying is a great way for me to exercise my interest in families, kids, and helping others until my schooling is complete, so I truly do enjoy the work and the opportunity!
