Hello! I am Yolanda, I'm 18 years old; I graduated in Leander, TX in 2020. I'm constantly a positive person having both a good attitude and outlook on life. I am originally from Colorado, I have moved around due to being in a military family, but being in a military family it has made me grow to love kids so much more. I have a 9 year old sister who I absolutely love doing arts and crafts with as well as playing outdoors. My experience with kids stared with my sister when she was born and has grown, I have been a regular babysitter, and I've done student-teacher programs. The age range I work with are Pre-K to 6th grade, from 4-5 years of age to 11-12. I love working and being around kids. I am currently going to school to be an elementary school teacher. I enjoy being around and working with kids both in an educational and non-educational setting. Having fun, being silly, and goofy with kids and in life is something that I love to do. Besides being a full-time college student I am also a photographer, I love capturing the unexpected perfect moments; as well I am constantly reading. Being around children I love incorporating creativity, imagination, being active and outdoors as well. Challenging kids to think outside of the box and think more critically is something that I enjoy, kids have such amazing minds and when challenged they do incredible things. Yolanda is kind, however not dependable. Her first four days, she was either late, going to be late or needed to leave early. At one point she didn’t even let me know she was going to be late. I tried to keep her and thought it would be a one time thing, and my kiddo liked her, but it put me in a bind with work, and didn’t get any better.
