I am a mom to 3 boys (17, 9 & 6 years old) and currently stay at home. I have been considering going back into the workforce to earn extra income for our family. After much consideration I have decided that I would like to find a family that prefers in-home childcare to provide a nurturing and safe environment in my home. I keep a very routine and orderly home, allowing me to provide my undivided attention to the child throughout the day with no other distractions. Ideally, I am looking for a long-term situation, a young child that would stay under my care until he/she is ready for preschool. My plan is to provide my service to a single family and not care for multiple children at the same time. While I have years of experience caring for my own children, I started my experience even earlier, before marriage. Read more I began babysitting during high school where I obtained a unique weekend babysitting job that lasted nearly 10 years. I also cared for a set of twins for a couple of years during high school and early part of college until they were school-aged. Also during college I obtained a job for an after school program where I was certified in CPR/First Aid. Though my certification is expired at this time I would be willing to bring it up to date if requested. Because it would be very important to me, as a mom, I maintain an excellent driving record and provide a smoke-free home. I agree to a full background check upon request. I'd be a happy for you to come meet our family and see our home. I am aware that in these types of arrangements we'd become an extension of each other's family so we look forward to the opportunity to meet you! *Note: I can provide transportation (picking up/dropping off) as needed if the primary care can be done in my home.
