Growing up with a mom who works with children with disabilities, I always was around to volunteer as a teacher's and therapist's assistant. I did this for about 2 years, where I tended to the kids needs, made sure they were safe, played with them, and also helped them with their schoolwork. Ever since then I know that I want to work with children. I also have 5+ years of experience of general babysitting, where I would pick the kids up from school, help them with their homework, cook them meals, and also put them to bed. I do want to work with children as a Pediatric Physicians Assistant when I get out of graduate school. I love working with children, and my experience has made me into a very good child care provider.
