Hi there! I am Adrianna. I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I have served as an informal babysitter for family members and close family friends since I was a teenager and have also worked for day care centers for 2 consecutive years, working with children ages 6 months to 11 years of age. I enjoy laughing, being silly, and playful with children. My years of childcare have taught me to be patient and gentle with children as they experience big emotions and help them find their way back to feeling calm and move forward. In addition, I have learned to multi-task so that each child receives the care and attention they need. Safety is a high priority for me, as such I am CPR trained and keep safety in mind when selecting toys, activities, and foods for children of various ages. Read more I love nannying/babysitting because I enjoy getting to know children and helping them smile. Each child has their own unique personality and it’s a joy getting to know them. When I’m not nannying/babysitting, I love to be outdoors with friends and family, reading a good mystery book, or going for walks with my 5-year-old dog Maya. I’ve recently picked up the hobby of backpacking, camping and exploring the national parks within the United States with friends and those have been some of my most memorable trips. Recently, I have been babysitting for a friend and mom of 3 (9-month-old, 3-year-old and 5-year-old) who is opening her own therapy practice with a focus on children.
