Pre professional/competitive dancer for 15+ years. Started teaching small classes for younger kids at my studio at 15 and still do occasionally. At 17 I began working full time at the Houston Racquet Club as a server and hostess and started babysitting part time. When covid happened, they put me in so many different departments like security, pool attendant, fitness, and finally youth staff. I worked in the youth department of the country club for 7 months and got adult and infant CPR and first aid certified. I completed their training course that covers care for ages ranging from newborn-teen. Then I transitioned to nannying and babysitting full time. I have experience with newborns, twins, disabilities(autism and Down syndrome), multiples(up to 4 kids at one time), toddlers, and teenagers. I have an 11 yo cousin with Down syndrome who lives with me and I have cared for her numerous times Read more since birth. So I understand the importance of patience and individualized assistance required. I have a lot experience with HISD and FBISD distance learning curriculum. Got a newborn care class certificate from the motherhood center. 6 years total experience in childcare. My rate for one child is $20/hour, 2 children is $25/hour, and 3 children is $30/hour. I work in locations within the 610 loop, but will travel outside for a small fee or depending on route. Cannot do live in. Fluent in English and can speak basic Spanish, but not completely fluent. Comfortable with pets. Fully COVID vaccinated. Willing to adhere to any covid precautions you would like(mask, gloves, temperature check, getting tested, vaccinations, etc).
