Hi! My name is Makenna, but most of my kiddos call me “Miss Kenna.” I absolutely love being a sitter because I enjoy building real connections with children and watching them grow, learn, and feel safe and happy in their environment. There’s nothing better than seeing a child smile, gain confidence, or learn something new knowing you were part of that moment. I have experience working in a daycare setting, where I primarily care for toddlers. This has given me hands-on experience with routines, potty training, managing multiple children at once, and creating a fun but structured environment. I’ve also done babysitting and pet sitting, which has helped me become very responsible, dependable, and flexible with different family needs. I’m patient, nurturing, and attentive, and I always try to meet each child where they are. I have training through childcare programs that focus on social-emotional development, communication, and age-appropriate activities.
