I'm currently a college graduate looking to help a family with their family needs. I started babysitting my two younger cousins (aged 6 and 7) when I was about 15 . They had just been adopted at the time and we got attached instantly. I knew then if I wanted to potentially watch over other children who weren't family I would need to know CPR, so I took a CPR class at my local hospital so I would know if needed. I also started watching over my neighbors daughter when she was about 4, during the day and occasionally over night when her job required her to be out of town. Working with kids for 2 years for PISD during my first two years of college not only changed my life, but my major as well. I had intended on going to school for photography and changed my major to Read more education. After this change, my degree included a year of teaching at an on campus pre school as well as 3 different elementary schools. I graduated in December 2020 with an Interdisciplinary Studies Degree after completing a full year of student teaching in CFBISD.
