In the past, I provided care for four children (one being epileptic and another having ADHD) throughout the school week. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to: - Picking up kids from school - Transportation to and from Extra-Curricular Activities - Daily reading with kids after school - Assisting with school work - Ensuring completion of homework - Meal preparation (School Lunches and After School Snacks) ------------------------------------------------------------ I also previously worked as a teachers assistant at a daycare learning center. My time there was cut short due to the school having to close during the beginning of COVID-19. While there, I focused on encouraging child development by teaching proper etiquette and acceptable social behavior in a nurturing environment. Day to day tasks included: - Developing daily lesson plans - Collaborating with Teachers - Cultivating student and parent relations - Conducting classes for 3 to 4 year olds - Food preparation Read more (while keeping in mind dietary restrictions of students) - Student roll-call -------------------------------- I am currently on route to obtain my Bachelors in Art. I relish in the arts - any form you can possibly think of, but especially like drawing/sketching. During my weeks, I make it a habit to do something outside with my sweet Anatolian Shepherd dog Honey and attend local events.
