Hi! I am currently in my second year working at a preschool and before having my own kids I worked for 12 years teaching elementary school. I love my current job and working with kids, but I would like to transition to watching one or two kids in my home starting next school year (Aug/Sept. 2024). A little bit about me: I have always been passionate about children and started babysitting in my early teens. I continued babysitting through college until I graduated. I then taught 3rd-5th grades for 12 years before taking time off to stay home and raise my 3 daughters. Last year I taught in the 12-18 month classroom at my youngest daughter's preschool and this year I am in the infant room (6-12 months). Ideally I am looking to watch 1-2 children in my home 3-5 days/week. Finding the right family is the most important thing Read more and therefore I'm willing to negotiate hours and pay. I would like the family to be ok with me watching their child in my home and taking them with me to get groceries, library story times, parks, etc. during the times they are with me. I have 3 daughters (5, 7, 10 years) so there may be times when they are all with me as well (after school or school holidays). I am also infant to adult CPR/First Aid certified and at one point we were licensed to foster. Children have always been my passion and I can't wait to get to know you and your kids! I can provide references upon request.
