After getting my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2013, where my focus was on children and family, I spent the next couple of years taking care of my legally blind grandmother. I was then employed as an on call aid for a school as well as residential facility, where I quickly got full time employment and then became the assistant house manager of the residential facility (all in less than a year). After the company closed, I became a teacher's assistant at another school, where I currently work and have so for over a year now. With my current position I provide one on one aid to those students in the Austism classroom as well as help out in the other two classrooms.
