Hi, my name is Trudie. I am called Grammy by my 2 year old granddaughter. I have been doing childcare for 12 years. Started my in-home daycare because I was paying fulltime care and working a part time job and get my daughter back and forth to school. After I completed training for the State and the US Navy I was ready. The Director of Navy CDH usually sent me single parents, as I was an older parent. I offered support and but only gave advice when asked. I am still in touch with a lot of these parents even though they are scattered around the country. I received a picture of one of my boys, who was in my care from birth to 18 months. He was graduating from Kinder. I treated the children as if they were my own. I cried on their last day with me. I have my CDA (Child Development Associate) from Bellingham Technical College. 2 certificates in Early Childhood Education at Skagit Valley College.
