Hi!! My name is Uzoulu Obijiofor and I am currently a student (junior) at the University of Texas at Dallas. I am studying Biology with a minor in Computer Science in hopes to become a Pediatrician. Coming from a big family, taking care of my cousins is a routine. I babysat 4 kids who are now in 4th grade, 6th grade, 9th grade and 12th grade for 8 years. I was raised in a Catholic School as well as my relatives. So my duties of a nanny consisted of picking up the kids from school, tutoring, watching them when my aunt and uncle would go on vacation, cooking, cleaning, and most importantly making sure they have fun. Back home I was very involved within the church. I coordinated the Vacation Bible School for Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Houston Texas where we taught the Bible in the best way for kids(5years-13years Read more old) for 4 years. To further my love for kids, I was a Camp Counselor for my high school (St. Agnes Academy) ‘s female enrichment camp “Be The Change” for underprivileged middle school girls. This was a character development camp allowing these kids to try new things so they are aware that the future is what they make of it! Caring for children is a serious job for passionate people. I was a Tutor for Stem Houston where I taught English, Math, and Science for elementary school kids over the summer. Through these experiences, I believe I am well equipped for this job. In terms of animals, I walk dogs at my student apartment complex and I cat sit! The past summer of 2021, I was given the opportunity to work at the Dallas Zoo! I was keeper aide and I worked alongside Giraffes! Thank you for your time and consideration and I hope to hear from you soon!
