Hello! My name is Elise Ramirez, and I am from Richardson, TX. I am an undergraduate student at Southern Methodist University double majoring in Music Education and Vocal Performance. I am a part-time music teacher at Lake Highlands School of Music, where I teach private voice and beginner piano, along with a mini classroom piano lab! I currently teach 10 students every Tuesday night (ages 6-15). I have been working at LHSM for almost a year; this is my paid childcare experience. I am an Operatic Singer trained in multiple musical styles, and I perform with the SMU Choir and Opera Theatre. I am Mexican-American (proud granddaughter of Mexican Immigrants) and I speak fluent Spanish. I want to incorporate music in my childcare because of its many benefits for children!
