Hello! My name is Christina and I'm 24 y/o. I am a senior at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi where I am working on my Bachelor's degree in history. I am home for the summer and only taking one online course, so I am seeking something else to keep me busy during the week. I love sports, being outdoors, movies, and crafts! I have been a babysitter in the past, but it has been a number of years. Last summer I was employed with Texana Center in Rosenberg working as a behavioral technician. I worked with a class of children from ages 2-4 and my duties included math lessons every day(M-F), playground supervision, lunch/snack time supervision, reading, artwork, etc. Because Texana Center provides behavioral healthcare, half of my students were autistic. This job required a CPR/First Aid certification and a SAMA certification(training in handling aggression), so I am certified Read more in those areas. I absolutely loved my time at Texana Center and fell in love with the kids! I have also worked in the food industry. I have been working on and off for Rudy's BBQ in Corpus Christi since 2012. I say "on and off" because I come home for the summers. I am family-oriented and love spending time with my loved ones as much as I can, and I LOVE animals! I may not have as much experience with children as others, but I am outgoing, I love kids, and I am very responsible. I do have my own transportation, and a clean driving record. As mentioned before, I am seeking something during the week, preferably Monday through Friday, or even 4 days a week, but I'd like to work from morning-afternoon if possible.
