I am a loving mother of 2 who is looking to use her teaching and education experience towards my career as a nanny. I am currently a stay-at-home mother who's life is all about my children. It's time for me to give to others what I enjoy doing the most, taking care of and nurturing children....and don't forget animals!!! I have previously owned my own licensed daycare and was also a substitute teacher/teacher aide for 4+ yrs. I have a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Concordia University. While working as a substitute, 50% of the jobs were for kids with special needs, these included a variety of disabilities. I had many of the same teachers request me. On top of working with many disabilities, my daughter is dyslexic therefore I've had to deal with this disability on a very personal level. I am very patient and loving with kids, Read more and can effectively help with homework. But I am not limited to any age, I LOVE babies! I also have twin nieces that I have cared for, along with their sister and my daughter all at once, on many occasions. I do not mind doing chores or running errands either. I am also on here as a pet sitter because I am such an animal lover, so please, if you have animals needing care, I can do both! *If it is a job that requires staying the night or travel, my 11 yrs old daughter will need to come with me.
