Hello! My name is Marie and I am a seasoned Nanny that is ready to make your life much easier! My childcare experience began in New Jersey where my own two children went to school. I was hired as a para-professional to assist with teaching children with autism. It was an early learning class teaching recently diagnosed three year olds. My favorite time teaching these beautiful children was when they were able to accomplish tasks that would be difficult for autistic children. I moved to Texas in 2004 and continued working as a para-professional for autistic children in McKinney ISD. These children were a little older, ages 5-7 and it was a pleasure to work with them, even through their frustrations. Eventually, in 2012 I found out about nannying and inquired about that. My first job was with a family in Dallas that had a 4 year old son that Read more I would assist to get him ready in the morning for a full day at pre-school. While he was in school, I was asked to be a Personal Assistant to the parents. I would assist with vendors, run errands, do grocery and clothes shopping, and manage their various house rentals. They had me keep rent records on Excel, as well as going to the rentals and hiring individuals to take care of any maintenance work that was needed. The family eventually moved to California. I've been with several families since then, one for almost five years. The only two reasons I had to look for another nanny job was because the families moved out of state, or the families chose to put their child(ren) in school. I've enjoyed working for each and every family I was with and they all appreciated having me as part of their family! And now I'm excited to find that next loving family to assist!
