I am 21 years old, a new mom to one sweet boy and have two fur babies. I am a military spouse and am new to the area. I have been a nanny and babysitter for the past six and a half years. My husband is in the Navy, and unfortunately the PCS to San Antonio meant leaving the family I'd been with for the last six years. In my time with them, I gained experience in special needs childcare. I had three children two of them since they were newborns. Their ages when I left were 4, 6 and 11. My duties included taking care of my sweet kiddos, taking them to and from school, sports, art classes, and after school/extra activities, grocery shopping, house cleaning, laundry, and cooking. We did a lot of outdoor play, arts and crafts, and the special needs child loved music and reading so Read more we incorporated a lot of books and songs into our daily activity. I was responsible for getting the kids on a schedule and sleep training them as newborns. I am currently working on my DCF 40 hour childcare certification and am pursuing a degree in early childhood education with a focus on special education. My availability will depend upon my husbands current schedule due to us having a baby, unless my son would be able to come on site.
