Hello, my name is Lauren Patton, and I have a passion for mentorship, and child development. Over the past three years I have been a student at the University of the Incarnate Word studying Communications. Throughout my time at school I found I was always drawn to and did well at part time jobs that gave me the opportunity to work with children and aid in their development. When I was given the opportunity to take an Internship in the career field I was studying, I took it immediately. I did well and was offered a full time job and a permanent position after graduating. I took the offer and started going to school online, soon after, I realized that something was missing. I was no longer working with children and doing what I loved and in the end that was what was most important to me.
