I love kids! I started babysitting at age 10 and quickly came to be known as "Perry Poppins." During the summers between college semesters I worked as a nanny for several families, including a family with twin 6-month-old babies and another family with 3 children ranging in age from 18 months to 7 years. Passionate about helping children in need, I spent 4 months one summer volunteering at an orphanage in Romania for children with special needs. I have a degree in mathematics education and have spent the past year teaching math at an inner-city middle school here in San Antonio. I am passionate about teaching, but I also believe that the important learning for a child is the learning that happens at home, especially during the formative years. I would love the opportunity to nurture, teach, and care for your children!
