My name is Barbara Catalina, but usually I go by Cathy because it's easier for kids:) I have been taking care of kids for over a decade now and loved every minute of it. Professionally I have worked in two different children shelter's here in San Antonio but before that I volunteered and interned in Communities in School and other children's shelters in Texas and before that I was a baby-sitter throughout my teenage years. During my job as direct care staff in children's shelters I took care of anywhere between 1-20 kids at a time, ages ranging from 0-18yrs old. I am a natural with children and have endless amount of patience and care for kids which is what led me to pursuit giving my attention and love to kids in foster care.
