Hi there! I'm Hayley (she/her), a 26 year old professional artist and educator! I'm looking for full time nanny positions and possible pet care positions. I was born and raised in Amarillo, TX and I've been in Austin for almost 8 years. I have three pets so I love animals and being around them! I'm an extremely outgoing, communicative person. I'm laid back and very patient but I'm not afraid to set boundaries. I have an associates degree in English Literature and a Bachelor's of Fine arts in Studio Art from Texas State University. I also have my teachers certification in texas. I've been working professional as an artist and educator for two years, since I graduated in May 2021. I started off teaching pottery lessons and private art lessons to adults and kids and I'm currently working in AISD as an Elementary School Art Teacher. I love kids and Read more have worked with them in many capacities. I babysat as my primary source of income in highschool and for two years of college. I have extensive experience working with infants/toddlers. Both from having many little ones in my family, and some of my kiddos I babysat in college were infant/toddler age. I was a part time nanny/house keeper for a family of 4 (twins, age 8) in 2021-2022. I worked at an educational after school program, and since graduating college have gotten my certification and am teaching formally. I'm currently looking to start nanning and move away from formal education for a few reasons! #1, I'm getting married in November 2024! My fiance and I have found it's quite difficult to deal with the lifestyle of an educator and plan a wedding. I want something more personal and with more autonomy/communication. #2, I want to step away from formal education but not from the feeling that I'm truly making a difference in a child's life! I love working with kids because I want to pay forward the love and wisdom that has been gifted to me from the adults in my life. As an educator and art teacher, I value fostering growth, curiosity and joy! I have a lot of experience and a passion for kids. Feel free to reach out!
