I am a high school student who is involved in the PALS program/class at my school. As a PAL we go around to all the elementary, intermediate, and middle schools and hangout with the kids. We are a leadership program that also goes to volunteer in our community when we are not with the kids. I am also a part of National Charity League where we volunteer throughout the community with our mothers. We volunteer at many organizations like Humane society of North Texas, Special Olympics, Miracle League, etc. Working with these organizations has given me the opportunity to for a relationship with the kids in a different environment.
