Meet Jaiden

  • Comfortable with pets

Hello! My name is Jaiden. Last summer I graduated from High School with a 3.98 cumulative GPA and I’m able to help tutor children with homework and projects. I love playing and babysitting children and have been doing so from age 12. I have six siblings and have much experience with caring and babysitting for them, as well as running errands, driving to and fro, and other tasks. In addition to my family, I have babysat for many other families since I was 12 years old, and I am currently in a nanny position. I love to play with kids and interact with them like a loving sister would. With previous families, I have played games inside and outside; brought games to teach to the children; read them books; danced; sang; and many more fun creative actions that released our inner child and left us laughing on the floor. I Read more also love to build a special connection with each child and take them out on outings and new places. I want them to know I love them and I’m part of their family, even if not by birth. I believe having fun and playing is an extremely important part of childhood. It crushes my heart to see children restricted and shoved into the “adult” box. As a result of that belief, I strive to play with children and relax and have fun and would love parents that support that belief. Nevertheless, I also recognize the importance of learning new things and reaching milestones. Therefore, when caring for children, I try to add a good mix of fun and educational games, and I'm always looking for something I can teach and help each child with. While I am interactive and kind to each child, I still set boundaries and follow all the instructions given to me. The children I care for learn what is expected of them and what they can and cannot do. One detail that sets me apart from other nannies is I try to focus on activities and not electronics. I love American Sign Language and took classes for 3 years, 4 if you count 8th grade. I love to travel and love to experience new places and new activities! I can drive but I do not have my own vehicle. My older sister has struggled with different kinds of seizures, and though I do not have a nursing degree, I’ve been taught what to do in these situations. Currently I live in Cupertino and if you are open to it, would love to be a live-in nanny. If you have any further questions, I am happy to answer them. I appreciate the time you have given to read this and hope to speak to you! Thank you!
