I have always loved children. As a child I was very nurturing. I started babysitting and nannying at a young age. In high school I got a job working at a state licensed daycare and preschool. Working with the amazing children made me realize that this was what I wanted to do as a career. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I taught 4th grade my first year of teaching. I taught two years of kindergarten after that. I loved my teaching experience. I had the pleasure to work with 109 of the most wonderful children throughout this time. I learned so much from them. I recently moved to Bountiful and chose to look for a nanny job. While I loved teaching, there is so much additional work that gets in the way of teaching. So much of my time and energy was Read more spent away from the kids. Now I am looking forward to finding children who need a loving nanny who wants to spend time and energy focusing on them, helping them learn. I think that the most important thing I can teach a child is to love themselves and love others, in a world that will teach them to do otherwise. I feel so very blessed to be able to work with children and hope to have the opportunity to get to know yours.
