Work Experience Kids Aerial Instructor: I work with kids, training them in strength, flexibility, and technique in aerial acrobatics. Their safety is the top priority, and we’re working with apparatuses that although beautiful and amazing, are also very dangerous. So it’s very important that I teach the kids to be great listeners. It’s also very difficult sport, so it’s also very important for me to know how to keep high spirits, and help the kids learn how to process their emotions when it comes to doing hard things, as well as teach them to keep going, which I feel is a very important lesson in and outside of class. Nanny/Babysitter: I have a very big family with a lot of nieces and nephews. I have always worked really well with the kids. I have been a go to babysitter, and I have been a full time nanny at several different Read more times, the longest lasting 2 years. So I’ve been able to work with kids a lot, both in large groups and small. I have been able to create a lot of really fun games and activities with the kids, ranging in all ages. I have been lucky to be able to help them learn how to work with each other, how to connect with themselves, how to be creative and curious, and a lot more. Success Coach: I worked as a success coach for doctors on how to run their practice differently to create more revenue. It was not only teaching the doctor, but also teaching the whole staff how to get on the same page. Which isn’t always easy, each different position has their own focus, such as a doctor might be focused on how to increase the practices revenue, but the staff may be focused on how to get through a busy day, which leaves their priorities often not matching up. So I worked with them on how to understand where one another is coming from, and find ways of getting both sides addressed, so that they both feel validated, and can then find ways of helping each other, so that they work better as a team. Similar to the way we teach kids to share, and teach them how to see outside of themselves as well as within themselves, and teach them important problem solving skills. Certified Yoga Teacher & Aerial Acrobatics Instructor: Currently teaching classes. I love teaching SO much. It’s incredible rewarding, and I’m always learning.
