Hi! My name is Tori, and I am looking for babysitting, pet-sitting, house-sitting gigs here in the Heber Valley. I have extra time on my hands and a friend of mine suggested opening a profile here to hopefully fill some of it. My schedule is pretty flexible right now, and I have a wide variety of experience. I have been a reliable house-sitter and pet-sitter for years (all for friends and/or acquaintances), I have over 20 years of experience babysitting and I was a part-time nanny for a year while I was in college. For the past 6 years, I worked with teenage boys at a Residential Treatment Center. Most of the clientele there were on the Autism Spectrum or had Non-Verbal Learning Disorders. I absolutely loved my time there, and I love working with/teaching kids. I left that job to move back to this gorgeous valley and follow my Read more dreams of owning a small business. I'm a very patient woman with a calm, level-headed, fun-loving approach to life. I am a trust-worthy, responsible adult and I would never blur-the-line between my personal, private life and my professional life or job (e.g.: I would never speak to your child(ren) about my personal life or "drama", invite my friends into your home, expose your child(ren) to adult conversation or language, etc.) As a professional, I feel that is inappropriate and unacceptable. I have been CPR and First-Aid certified for the past 7 years, however, my last certifications have lapsed within the past month. I'm willing to negotiate on a rate of pay that feels fair. I'm not opposed to "light housecleaning" duties or cooking meals, if needed, during child-care jobs. I charge $12/hr. and with caring for more than 3 children my hourly rate would increase, but I'm willing to talk about it! I own an insured car and I can transport myself.
