Hi I’m Dee. I am 29 years old. I grew up in a small town but have moved around a lot as an adult. I am ready to find a place to really call home. I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2019 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I love kids, animals, and cooking. I am a very happy and energetic person. I enjoy traveling and exploring new areas. I learn fast and get along easily with others. I have a lot of experience working with kids. - I have a degree in elementary education from BYU-Idaho. I taught 6th grade science in Colorado the 2020-2021 school year. I was responsible for up to 22 kids at a time. I did my student teaching in Farr west Utah in 2019. I had to plan and teach lessons everyday. I had to work with parents and other teachers to provide Read more the kids with everything we could to help them succeed. This gives me a great foundation for working with kids of different backgrounds and temperaments. I think this would help me as a nanny because I have learned how to constructively discipline and guide kids. - Growing up I worked as a babysitting for several different families. I was always requested by the kids and the parents trusted me whole hartedly. I was responsible for 2 to 5 kids at a time. I was responsible for making dinner on many occasions. I had to keep the kids entertained and happy. Sometimes I was asked to help with homework. I was also responsible for putting kids to bed on many occasions. - I was a live in nanny in 2015. I worked for a family on Long Island. They had three kids I was responsible for. Two boys and a girl. They boys were in school but the girl was with me all day. I was responsible for making sure the kids were up and out to the bus on time. I took care of the little girl all day. I made breakfast and lunch for her. I made sure she got a nap. I also did housekeeping. I picked up the boys from the bus stop each day and made sure they got their homework done. I was only at this job for a few week. The mom got diagnosed with M.S. and they chose to have her mom move in to take care of the kids so they could save money for any treatment she needed.
