I am interested in being a nanny or full-time sitter. I am currently a sophomore at Utah State University going into pediatric nursing. I have 8 years of child care experience and have worked as a nanny for the last 5 years. In addition I am a volunteer with the American Red Cross and a member of their Disaster Action Team, as well as a 'Safe Sitter' instructor where I teach youth to be certified babysitters. It is through the Red Cross that I hold certifications in child and infant CPR/AED and basic first aid. I truly feel like the most good I can do is by helping children. I love watching them grow and discover through play, music, art, and just watching the world around them. I am very easygoing and flexible but also know the importance of a structured schedule for children.
