I am a caregiver because I love being around developing humans. It's very rewarding and fascinating to me to be around people that are still forming their perception of the world and developing their character. With that development comes a tremendous responsibility on my part to be a exemplary influence and adult. I take that responsibility very seriously. I have babysat throughout high school and college for friends and members of my church. I am good with children of all ages. I also am a music teacher at an elementary school, so I have lots of experience interacting and teaching children. Additionally, I'm an after school teacher for 1st graders at a different elementary school. I also lived at a children's shelter in Nepal for 3 months with 30 kids ranging in ages from 5-25. On a daily basis we helped care for the children, played with them, and taught Read more them. I grew up on a dairy farm so I am familiar with hard work and dedication. I know that jobs are not merely the hours specified but require my full commitment even in extenuating circumstances. I also am very good under high pressure situations, having worked on a farm my whole life and lived abroad several times.
