My name is Katie Haglund. I am 23 years old. I was adopted from the Marshall Islands. Growing up I've always said that my dream job was to be a mom. I love working with children! After I graduated high school in 2019 I became a nanny for 4 children. I was also a dance teacher for kids ages 5-10. I taught dance for about 2 years and I nannied for 4. I am now a para educator at James E Moss Elementary. I help with behavior plans and teach mindfulness to students. I also do reading groups, PE, lunchroom management, and any other tasks the principal may ask me to do. During the summer, I take 2 weeks out of my summer to go travel and do humanitarian trips. I teach in the schools, work on construction projects and many other things. This summer I am going to Fiji Read more for the 5th time, as the assistant team leader. I am currently without a job for the summer and am wanting to get back into nannying. I end school May 30th and could start right away. However, I do leave from June 23rd-July 6th.
