I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2005. After graduating I worked at a Children's home as a Youth Counselor, age range 6 -18 years of age. I received certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. I have spent the last 10 years working with children and adults with developmental disabilities. I worked for The Resource Center and The Learning Disabilities Association of WNY. Both positions I passed a background check and motor vehicle check. I have a clean driving record. Responsibilities included direct care and supervisory level. I do know basic sign language. I come from a big family and have spent a lot of time babysitting for family members, age range newborns to teenagers. I am relocating to the Arlington, VA area by the end of February and I am looking to find a full- time or part-time position as a nanny.
