Hi, I am Imani. I'm dependable, outgoing, trustworthy, energetic, and positive. I've been working with kids of all ages and babysitting for about 6 years and nannying for almost 4 years. I have the most experience taking care of newborns to 6-year-olds but I enjoy children of all ages. I am an animal lover, I grew up with cats all kinds, so I'm very comfortable with animals once they get to know me. Some duties I am willing to do are laundry, outdoor/ indoor activities, (depending on the weather), reading books, projects and homework, cleaning and more if needed. I currently do not drive . I got my permit right before covid started and have been taking driving classes. Transportation is still no problem for me. I have been nannying for about 2-3 years. I work with many children from ages newborn to 9 years old. I've worked with more Read more than 4 children in a household of different ages. Therefore I'm can multitask and handle many responsibilities at once. I also am a pre school teacher and I worked with children from ages 3-6. I have my first aid and CPR certifications. I soon want to go back to giving my all to a loving family. What I love about kids is their imaginations and creativity. Kids are very smart and observant and I love helping kids reach developmental milestones. What makes me a role model to children is because I set myself as a positive influence in their lives. Children reflect off who they are around so being positive, humble and kind makes them look up to you. What is very important to parents is trust. Building a connection with their kids. I aim to build connection with both children and parents.I hope to be with a family long term where I feel loved and can give love.
