Hello— My name is Eliot! I'm a rising senior at Middlebury College I am a rising senior at Middlebury College studying Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies with a double minor in Political Science and Architectural Studies. I am returning from a semester abroad in Nepal, Jordan and Chile studying human rights. This summer, I will be in Boston under a nonprofit fellowship, interning for the social justice initiative at a local women's center.  As an older sibling, I grew up taking on caregiving responsibilities from a young age. Through high school and college, I've turned this into professional experience in childcare and education. I have extensive training in early childhood development, earning certifications in designing age-appropriate lesson plans supporting students with disabilities. While not currently active, I have completed many CPR/First Aid for working with kids. In addition to academic training, I've held several hands-on childcare roles. I spent two Read more summers working as a summer camp counselor, where I lived with middle school-aged campers, providing mentorship in an all-female environment. I also have experience as a private caregiver for an elementary student with developmental disabilities.   No matter the setting, I strive to create an engaging, enriching experience for every child I work with. You can count on me to be proactive, responsible, and respectful of the trust my parents place in me as a caregiver. I'm passionate about keeping kids active, exploring the outdoors, and encouraging them to try new activities. Outside school, I am passionate about fitness, getting outside, reading, and traveling.
