I have over a decade of experience in the education field. My role as a caretaker started in 2011 when I took a Teachers for Tomorrow course and began volunteering in a Special Education classroom. While pursuing my Bachelors Degree I nannied for multiple families, volunteered in elementary classrooms, worked in a nursery, assisted teachers in Virginia Initiative summer school programs, long term substituted, and completed my teaching internship. Shortly after completing my teaching internship, I got offered a position working as a Virginia Preschool Initiative Teacher for Arlington County Public Schools. I am also a mother of a very sweet 4 year old girl.
