Since my early teenager years, I've helped my family and neighbors care for their children from infancy to their early teens. Duties would include changing diapers, feeding, cleaning and preparing bottles, taking the kids to various classes, and other miscellaneous house chores and errands. I've cared for children in a home environment, as well as professional environments. My sophomore year of high school, I was a counselor-in-training for the Flint Hill School's summer program. My last two years of high school, I volunteered with Junior Achievement to teach elementary school children basic business concepts in our feeder school. Since college, I haven't had much time to work as a nanny. However, I frequently babysit family members between the ages of 1 and 15.
