I am currently a first-year osteopathic medical student at VCOM in Blacksburg, Va. During college, I nannied after school for a family on a daily basis for the 4 years that I was there. The oldest child was 8, and the twins were 5 when I started. I also babysat semi-regularly on weekends for a family with a 1-year-old. After graduating from college, I completed a Masters in Biomedical Science, and I babysat for a new family there on a regular basis with a 6-year-old child. I have now moved to Blacksburg for medical school, and I am excited to get plugged into this community. I am the middle child of five, so I learned how to be patient and intuitive of the needs of others at a young age. I am a very social person, and I love meeting new people.
