For the past three summers I have taken care of my 9 year old cousin by cooking his meals, supervising his activities, and playing fun games with him. Through babysitting him every day, I learned how to come up with creative ways to spend time. Since my cousin loves animals, we would take weekly trips to the pet store (as long as he was well-behaved)! We also went to local parks and pools so he could interact with other kids his age. His favorite treat was getting frozen yogurt on very special occasions. Since we had fun no matter what we were doing, taking care of him made me realize how much I love spending time with kids.
