Hello, My name is Shicora Anderson. I have always loved working with children no matter what the age was. I have always felt the joy of being able to watch children grow and learn new things and being able to help support them anyway I could. My passion for working with children started when I became the oldest of four younger siblings. Being the oldest I had to take on a lot of responsibilities and always set good examples. My childcare experience began when I started babysitting in 2010. Soon after in 2011 I started working at Acac fitness and Wellness centers in the Kid Zone. Working there I gained great relationships with families to part-time nanny and babysit. I wanted to strengthen my childcare experience so I was offered a position as a Associate Teacher at the Sharon L. Hostler Development Center. My duties included Meet and greets with Read more parents during drop offs and pick-ups. Providing lesson plans and group activities. Giving parents feedback, Helping children develop strong social skills and also fine motor skills.
