Energetic, hands-on nanny seeking a full-time position beginning late this Spring. My current employers are moving in May :( so I'm starting the search for my next unicorn family! I'm available Monday-Friday, with flexible hours, to work in your home or keep your child at mine. I’m located in Crozet but would be happy to commute to Ivy, Charlottesville or other surrounding areas within reason. I have over 15 years of childcare experience and am particularly knowledgable of newborns, infants and toddlers. I attended art school at VCU for a couple of years before switching my major to Early Childhood Education & I'm currently working towards a career studies certificate in Infant and Toddler Development through PVCC. As an avid hiker and swimmer, I love to spend time outside and hope to work for a family who limits screentime and shares my interest in an active and healthy lifestyle. I Read more love to read (although, admittedly, my reading list these days is largely compromised of children’s literature) and in my spare time I enjoy crafting and creating mixed-media art. If I weren’t a nanny, I imagine I would pursue a career as an elementary school librarian or art teacher. My CPR/ First Aid certifications are up to date. I am fully vaccinated and while I love to be out and about, I'm still very covid conscious. I’d prefer to work for a family who is also vaccinated and adheres to recommended preventative actions when it comes to Covid (and other viruses, obviously).
